This is a custom piece I made for a friend. It stands around 12" tall. It is a double bubler with a "ribbon bubbler" in the second can. The conection from the first can to the second penetrates a donut in the second can. Its one of the bigger pieces I have made in a while.

This is my first piece using a graal section made at Mickelsens class from last month. I m really excited about this process and can t wait to explore it further.

The samarai figure and the wind wheel lead me to the asian theme of the piece. The stem represents a temple(pagoda) and I felt the little bonsai tree finished it off.

I want to thank RAM for teaching a great class and a big thanks to slinger for keeping me inspired.

This is a piece I Collaborated with Smiley on. Props to Smiley and all his super sick work.
This one has it all except a stem. We got doughnut holes, blow outs, supper sick Opals, wigemawags, bowties, reduction marble, and a horseshoe foot.Stands 11 3/4 " tall.
Thanks for letting me be a part of this.
Also, Thanks Smiley for taking all these great pics.
We used Chocolate Crayon, GT Green, Yellow, And Amozone Lagoon blowout.

yello tubing is made of a psychotic double sided dichroic sheet from DA. it was really hard to work with, but it came out great.

i went down to socal last week and went to luke's shop and we busted this out.I had a great time making it and seeing old friends.Luke made the triple donut penetration can and i made the stem.we tuke turns puting it together,all the filler is amber tubing sleaved over green exotic all in all it went real smooth. X-stern-L stem bub. yellow blow ins with portland grey wig wag sections. plus emrold dicro backed with yellow 4 ears. i really like the white tusks on this one and i think i'll keep that on future pieces . the ellys i've done in the past had twisted color tusks but i think the white one look a lot more tusky.

i don't know how the featured page thing works on here, but have 2 say it seams pretty click-e some people get there shit feature every time, while others push the medium and get no feature. it would be kinda nice if it was more bout what you blow and not who you know.

I have serious reasons to believe that the planet the little prince came from is Asteroid B-612. This asteroid has been sighted only once by telescope, in 1909 by a Turkish astronomer, who had then made a formal demonstration of his discovery at an International Astronomonical Congress. But no one believed him on account of the way he was dressed. Grown-ups are like that.

Bub n' dry ham. Bub is 10 inches tall and the can is almost twice as many sections as usual, however its only about half the mass of my last few.

Royal came over to help me clean up the mess of reversals I so lovingly refer to as my "art". So the whole time I was working on this bub I was fighting off some bad habits I unknowingly developed. Also I'm now making my sections about 40% of the size I was before and I really concentrated on the shape of this bub and it seems to flow a bit better than the last 20 or so. I think shits gonna really clean up over my next 9-10 pieces.

Thanx again Royal, without your help I'd still just be making spoon after spoon. Big Ups to Glasspipes,org and thegldg.

Art evokes emotion and conveys a message.

This is the first in a series of pieces with a political or social theme.

When I first started looking at sandcarving I realized that glass is the perfect medium for Stencil Graffiti art. In my youth I visited the major cities of the US and I always saw stencil art and it often had a political theme.

When I took the class with Slinger I was mostly interested in learning the photoshop techniques. (Magnetic lasso is my friend, Thank You Slinger!)
I was also really interested in how his content was recieved, in other words did people buy it, and after the converstation I had with him on that subject I've decided to just create art that I like and that sends the message that I want to send. If someone buys it great if not I hope it makes people think.
So thats why I'm doing this series because I want to say something. Art for Arts sake...
