i used 2 prefer concrete over wood floors in a glass shop, but after i droped 1 of these guys while finagling with the kiln door ( my piont snaped ) . the more than half done piece fell 4ft 2 the wood floor. to my surprise the piece was fine. i've lost many a pieces to concrete floors in past shops and thats always sucks. i'll take any advantage i can get . so to that i say , The Wood Is Good!

Royal Flush

a kooky lefty from a brainstorm.
the chamber generates so much turbulance that it needs a dedicated drain to recirculate the water to the bottom of the can. the dual stem operates similarly, as one path draws and the other drains. bubbles like a super champ with no water reachin my mouth even when heaving on it!

a funky 12" tall bub and a 6.5" drylock.
these are my first pieces of 2008, and although it's still numb and odd feeling, i would say that my thumb is back to 100% functionality, and it makes me super happy.

huge thanks to my friends and family who were able to help out while i couldn't work.
i can't thank you enough.

also, thanks to marcel and chris for these buttery canes.

~~~Puff Dragon~~~
(GlassMasterB)
the Puff Dragon is a semi-peraciticle creature thats lives mostly in hippie houses, frat houses or college droms. They mainly feed on diggity dagg but can also survive on shagg during a dry spell. Puff Dragons have also been seen sucking on butane flames, the reason they do this is not quite clear. It is beacause of their simbiotic relationship that they share with humans that makes them very good pets, creating a calm relaxing atmosphere for who ever they consitter part of their pack. Puff Dragons are easy to care for as long as they get plenty of food and water. Water is very important for their filtra...I mean digestive stystems. Not much else is known about the Puff Dragon because of their extream rarity. It is believed that their are fewwer than 20 on our planet today.
We spent a couple days making this piece, all in all a very fun project. Piece features 4 water chambers with dropped in glass on glass setup, piece is pretty big about the size of a six pack of beer ;) about 20 sections in this baby not a whole lot but sections are rather large. Big props to WOOD for collaborating with me on this piece. BTW piece was sold the very next day but we can make others if anyone is interested.
