Not sure what this is, a single stemless, or a double stemless? Took me a few days to finish this, trying to figure out the double weld took some time. Aside from the tequila sunrise this piece also has some amber tubing. Thanks for looking.

Once upon a time in Tralfamadore there were creatures who weren't anything like machines. They weren't dependable. They weren't efficient. They weren't predictable. They weren't durable. And these poor creatures were obsessed by the idea that everything that existed had to have a purpose, and that some purposes were higher than others.
These creatures spent most of their time trying to find out what their purpose was. And every time they found out what seemed to be a purpose of themselves, the purpose seemed so low that the creatures were filled with disgust and shame.
And, rather than serve such a low purpose, the creatures would make a machine to serve it. This left the creatures free to serve higher purposes. But whenever they found a higher purpose, the purpose still wasn't high enough.
So machines were made to serve higher purposes, too.
And the machines did everthing so expertly that they were finally given the job of finding out what the highest purpose of the creatures could be.

Most of this piece is clear, but there are a few Canary and Lava Frit windows on it... The grass was made from Mystery Adventurine, 2 clear large mushrooms on each side. Frog chillin on a mushroom encased inside can..Thanks for looking...

Ben from Illuminated Glass came over last week and this is what we came up with. I pulled a stick stack tube of mainly greens and Ben went to work on making sections. He made all but 5 of the 18 sections, and I put the whole thing together as well as shaped it and made the jar and 3 of the marbles. Really happy with this piece overall. The can has the biggest base yet of any of my bubblers. And the proportions just came out right. Let me know what you guys think!

I made this piece for Reggae On the River it has 22 reversal sections and is 12" tall and was made with orange, yellow crayon, star white, aqua azul, midnight, jade and super unobtainium with onyx filler. Im stoked on it i think its the best piece ive made. thanks to Fro and Glasspimps for all there support! and to Shad and Banjo for there inspiration you guys rock!

back in my day
sockflips were the shit!!!
unfortun... i never learned to do them so in an attempt to "bite" the double layer effect i so loved in PEDRO SMILEY's already legendary disk flips i came up with this method according to what i understood at the time--- inside-out flares. yes thats right, these are spiraled inside out flares, popped back open and layered again before getting added to a prepped and waiting disk. at this point, a large clear marble is added, making sure to at least get the whole panel covered up thereby making it look like an implosion marble applied to a cobalt disk.
thanks for looking. i made this after seeing all the fumey marbles on bearclaw and phreaks pieces at the last trade show. kinda took me back in time so i wanted to rep some of my old style in a new piece.

First piece i made after the trade show! Its a super compact stemless...=) Finished at 6:00am on 8-22-06. I was trying some new techs that i saw at the show. First off i have to thank Mike Luna for cruising with my brother and i to C.H.A.M.P.S. and for showing me some rad techs. There is alot of inspiration here from other artists too. Such as: Banjo, Mike Fro,Abel Vincente, ESP, Bearclaw, Slinger,Mouse, J Tek and others. The Vegas show was very inspiring to say the least. All the artists there have improved so much its mind boggling! it will be interesting to see what shows up at the next show! Thanks to all of you here on the site =)~~~Peace<Eush

This is a special piece made for my good friend Som one. It has a chillum that fits just right into the top of the piece. It actually locks in! This took some 20 hours to make. I was really happy with the cage style and look forward to making more in this Genre.
