crazy straw style

(TimeZ)
Anotha' from the summa'. don't know what to call the stem. It's two blind seals (a ring seal with no air passage) if you can't tell, connected by a series of clear tubes that penetrates itself in an un-traditional manner (sounds sexy, right?), a style I played with a lot this summer. Thanx and peace.

Captain Forqueray

(Hippo)
The only man amongst them wore an elaborately ornamented exoskeleton: a baroque support structure of struts, hinged plates, cables and servo-mechanisms. His face was a skull papered with deathly white skin, shading to black under his bladelike cheekbones. His eyes were concealed behind goggles, his hair a spray of stiff black dreadlocks.
Periodically he inhaled from a glass pipe, connected to a miniature refinery of bubbling apparatus placed before him on the table.

I was outside my building trying to get some better pics of the fuming on this piece when one of my neighbors came by. I was telling him I like to think sci fi shit when I m dreaming up pieces and he lent me a book by Alastair Reynolds. Thats where I got the above quote.

Royal Flush

(JasonLeeGlass)
a kooky lefty from a brainstorm.
the chamber generates so much turbulance that it needs a dedicated drain to recirculate the water to the bottom of the can. the dual stem operates similarly, as one path draws and the other drains. bubbles like a super champ with no water reachin my mouth even when heaving on it!

(FluidMotionGlassw...)
traditional fumed layback sidecar bub. normal drop stem, no perc-holes. just liked the funktified stem. the can's got some weird insect-leg/bamboo type patterns. 7.25" long, 3.5" tall when sitting

This piece is super nice. It is about 5 inches tall and around 7 inches long. It is oriented like a hammer but employs the sidecar seal. It has spikes on the stem and has one of my fume criss cross canes off of the back of the can.

Fumed sidecar bub... This peice was made late 2004. It's all outside work except the silver fumed honeycomb. It's fun to take away all the colors and just work with fume sometimes...
2. Sidecar crystal

2. Sidecar crystal

(Natedizz)
This is the third in the crystal nature series. There is a hollow marble containing a piece of polished obsidian, and quartz, and two unknown crystals. There is also a geode half hiding under the sidearm.
