Slinger, Bearclaw, Eli, Ease, Dosher.
can is 12"tall. from mouthpiece to bottom of can 14". 2006-2007
This piece is the third and final installment in a collaboration series between Slinger, Bearclaw, Dosher, Eli, and Ease. It was started in the summer of 2006 in Seattle. Cut and Flip sections by Dosher. Cobalt/Yellow/Gre... reversals by Eli. Blow out sections by Slinger and Claw. Dichro reversals by Ease. Fillacello disc by Bearclaw. Anti-Marbles by Slinger. The can was shaped by Ease. The Stem was shaped by Slinger and Claw. I picked up the piece in Seattle this summer and brought it back to Philly in two pieces and put it together. I did the main seal, the downstem seal, sit, carb, anti-mibs and sandblasting. I blasted 5 skulls around the rim of the bowl to symbolize the five souls that came together on this. Big ups to Hops and Snic for assistance on some manuevers, it's big!!

This is the making of Rasta-Fire on the Mountain, just way too much retardation. Mad funzo, donkeys, snow and food poisoning. Its gonna be like 40 pictures so after I upload them all I will add captions cause my comp sucks and I cant see the preview images when I'm uploading.
2 days work, 26 sections plus the huge lunket of dichro.
Day 1 started like any other day blowing glass in the middle of fuckin nowhere on the side of a mountain....it was cold as hell and started snowing so as soon as we got it warm in the shop we started getting swarmed by these "pine bugs" that spray you with a skunk like odor, they fly all over and just keep fuckin comin, we musta killed like 500 of these things, we even hired a stray kitty (a.k.a. the hobo kitty) to patrol ground level while we took out the troops above the bench so the first nite we just found our groove and got our sections started....ate dinner bs'd and went to bed...

I got to take a class with Bandhu in sept and got to see him hollow sculpt a human figure and now my ladies no longer look like NFL line-backers in drag, so thank you Bandhu for fixing me.
Comic books, cartoons, video games, Banjo, and Dark Horus. these things all cross my mind when I think about sculpting in glass. They have been a big help to me in thinking about glass in a way that is foriegn to my norm.
Thanks to Sarah and AJ for their amazing contributions. This was only half a piece when I showed it to them. Sarah's Silver Chains and Collar and AJ's Gear base made all the difference in the world to me on this one.
