Resolution Series - Gabe/Blade Collab

(Blade)
In mathematical logic and automated theorem proving, resolution is a rule of inference leading to a refutation theorem-proving technique for sentences in propositional logic and first-order logic. In other words, iteratively applying the resolution rule in a suitable way allows for telling whether a propositional formula is satisfiable and for proving that a first-order formula is unsatisfiable; this method may prove the satisfiability of a first-order satisfiable formulae but not always, as it is the case for all methods for first-order logic.

A collab with Gabe out of Colorado Springs, the technical guru.

these are my first pieces of 2008, and although it's still numb and odd feeling, i would say that my thumb is back to 100% functionality, and it makes me super happy.

huge thanks to my friends and family who were able to help out while i couldn't work.
i can't thank you enough.

also, thanks to marcel and chris for these buttery canes.

~~~Puff Dragon~~~
(GlassMasterBen)
the Puff Dragon is a semi-peraciticle creature thats lives mostly in hippie houses, frat houses or college droms. They mainly feed on diggity dagg but can also survive on shagg during a dry spell. Puff Dragons have also been seen sucking on butane flames, the reason they do this is not quite clear. It is beacause of their simbiotic relationship that they share with humans that makes them very good pets, creating a calm relaxing atmosphere for who ever they consitter part of their pack. Puff Dragons are easy to care for as long as they get plenty of food and water. Water is very important for their filtra...I mean digestive stystems. Not much else is known about the Puff Dragon because of their extream rarity. It is believed that their are fewwer than 20 on our planet today.
This was a fun little piece to make. The frog was an experiment in unencased crayon orange. Came out pretty well I think. The bub is fairly simple with striking red colorcomb caps over inside fumed stems. Functions very well. Thanks fer lookin'.
Stemless piece with a penetrating bowl. The versatility of this design continues to push my boundaries.
This piece was made for a good friend here in the Valley of the Sun. It represents the fine line to walk between Love & Hate.
I'm in constant search for balance in my own life. I've found that when I feel anxious or incomplete, doing what i love can give me the fix I need.
You must feel No Stress!
This is a 24" up-line bubbler. Horny, heavy and hot! Yet another piece I must attribute to Eusheen and his inspiring works of art.
I imagined when I finished this piece I could relate the experience to giving birth. I was in labor for three days. Between the bleeding, heat flashes and blow tube snapping off, I was cooked.
Alls well that ends well. I did what any single father would do and sold my baby to the nearest smoke shop. You know with the economy and all.
Thanks for looking. Peace.
well i got a burst of inspiration and decided to step outside the comfort zone.... it all started when a young pipemaker from quebec city stopped by my shop last friday, his skill and excitement made me feel like i had to step it up, thanx galen, he made a few windows on this piece..... the idea for the weird lil triple seal chamber on the bottom comes directly from Steve Hops and Ease, and i have to give Fro and Shad props for inspiration as well..... with this piece i was kinda just freestyling and didnt really have too much of a plan while building it, lots of stuff ill do different next time, the one major flaw is that it wasnt til i was done with the piece that i realized i wish i had reversed the way i sealed on the triple seal chamber, if it was sealed the opposite way then the piece would perc how i intended.... the way it works now is more like a force perc, its weird actually, if you blow into the mouthpiece it makes the lil bottom chamber gurgle like a reg bub....
