Sorry it has taken so long we ahve all been so busy lately .. but here are some professional photos by our friendly aussie kris gardner.. As we stated before this piece has somewhere in the vacinity of 250 flame hours.. between 5 different artists.. Jason "live free" gordon, tito, eli s. , jonny k. , and j.fletch with the plasma... there are 51 sections in total just in the double bubbler.. eli s gave an incredible yoda and darth vader "dehelmeted".. live free lead the whole team wich was completely a huge team effort as many of you saw with the pics of the making of this beast.. well ill let the pics do the rest of the talking peace live free.. thanx for looking..

Collab with Chris Carlson. jet black, star white. The octopi have about a 14 inch span when the tentacles are still straight out. Two full size octopi are pretty rare...thats over 32 attachments. Every tentacle is attached back to the bub so this beauty can be handled without fear. Thanks for the raging session and killer pics Chris...

The theme is "crumpled up dollar bill that i found in that coat i havent worn since last winter".

This piece is the result of the recent Marcel and Jason Lee workshop. All of the wigged tubing is from just one pull. The class was amazing, I can't even begin...
Big thanks to both Jason and Marcel for guidance on this as well as Ease who helped with the butt seal. And I can't forget MNP for use of the Kiln to assemble it... this thing won't fit in a 9169.

I got to take a class with Bandhu in sept and got to see him hollow sculpt a human figure and now my ladies no longer look like NFL line-backers in drag, so thank you Bandhu for fixing me.
Comic books, cartoons, video games, Banjo, and Dark Horus. these things all cross my mind when I think about sculpting in glass. They have been a big help to me in thinking about glass in a way that is foriegn to my norm.
Thanks to Sarah and AJ for their amazing contributions. This was only half a piece when I showed it to them. Sarah's Silver Chains and Collar and AJ's Gear base made all the difference in the world to me on this one.

This piece was a response to Ashcroft's "operation pipedreams" and its dramatic effect on our culture.
The camoflauge and barb-wire chamber represents the underground nature of our scene.
The black helicopter is the "man" flying in to limit our freedoms and attempt to disrupt our peacefull way of life.
Their missiles of fascism find their way in but the explosions sparkle with dichro rather than burn.
Finally, the sword pommel stem is a reference to the Sword in the Stone of king Arthur. Which of us will rise to slay the beast and lead us to new horizons?
With all the distibutors shutting down and having no contacts to sell my work, I made this piece out of despair. I put two weeks into it and $300 into postcards of it at a time when it was hard to eat.
It sold when nothing else would for me, and it launched a rebirth in my work.
P.S. This is the only pic i have of this piece. If the owner could hook me up with nice pics, i would kick down something nice.

This madness is called berserker-fury." ... on the the Berserker Vikings. These guys were known to ingest huge amounts of magic mushrooms and alcohol before battle. They would often be possesed by the spirit of a wolf or bear.
