Fourth Part of Series

Fourth Part of Series

(XL)
This one is the first really sick one for me, I think. Just the honeycomb top section took me about 2 1/2 hours. It's a pretty tedious fourty mil tube encased in onyx, encased in alchemy's glittery stuff, blown out to about a 6 in. sphere then I applied 7mil dots. Then the fun part- reducing. That shit sucks. But the slower, the nicer. It does a job on the elbows. The whole thing was about 8 sticks of color on just the top section. 16 in. tall, 3 in. base. First time I did paddle marvering. Thanks for all the inspiration from glasspipes.org on the paddle marvering 'cause im still not quite comfortable enough with faceting. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it.
OH OH OH HEY AND BY THE WAY IT DOES NOT EXIST ANYMORE. It was wrapped up in a sweater in the trunk and my girlfriend didn't know. She went for the sweater and the piece took a fatal spill.

This is the beginning of the fifth piece in the series...

I don't even know where to start. I got inspired, and went at it. Check it out. Took ten hours. 18 inches tall 3 1/2 in. wide. Only used the roller at the very end to put the bucket on.
This is the last and final of my tube series. I think I'm gonna make beads for a while.
PSYCH! I gotta represent.
Peace out.

Well after a lot of hard work issue number 64 of Cannabis Culture Magazine has come out, here is a sneak preview of the glass featured in it.

First up is the "Pipe Classic" hosted by Bern Glass. Written by Marbleslinger.
... is the "Amanita and Fern" piece by Chaz as the centerfold.

And finally there is the new Magazine regular "Glass Masters" with Clinton as the first master featured.

The Mag is looking like it will be in the store's on Jan 21.

Huge thank you to everyone involved in letting this happen.

CC Mag is committed to representing the glass community in a responsible and intelligent manner.

Love to hear your thoughts.

I see a whole heap of really nice pieces here with photo's that don't do them justice.

I have a couple of quick examples of resizing/white balance/ level adjustment/backgr... cleanup etc.

If you have a piece that needs photo's that represent it's true quality, feel free to email me with the original that YOU took and i will see what i can do for you.
Not everything can be rescued but i will try.
Keep up the good work

behold!! horus set !tribute!

(Bearclaw78)
This five piece set is a tribute to the og horus set. The energy surrounds the dry disc hammer and flows from there. All the cold working focuses on elements found in horus, and the main focals are abstract representations of the hard work involved in horus. Thanks for looking.

This february('07) was my first trip to a champs show. It's about time-considering I have been making pipes for almost 10 years now!! I was blown away by tons of cool stuff I saw. On a side trip, I had the awesome opportunity to go to Still Smokin' ( a las vegas head shop-the best actually) with Lisa (of lisa's pieces) to watch her work on finishing a sick-ass full figured giraffe pipe! We were there for hours, but it was awesome to chill there because they have massage chairs and crazy dj's-and of course, some awesome glass to look at! Anyway, champs was really inspiring in lots of ways. I think I will go again soon!
