Well if feels pretty soft to me.
And if it takes shit to make bliss,
well I feel pretty blissfully."

reptile paperweights

reptile paperweights

my first go at sculpting creatures. i did these and several others over the 05 holidays. the red toad ended up costing me over $250 to make. when gathering for his body, i slipped and mashed him against the front of my tiger shark. Bethlehem charged me for two hours of labor at $125/hr to unclog the holes. i was f'n pissed. my rage came through in the finished product. its one evil lookin toad.

Mystic Lake peace Pipe

Mystic Lake peace Pipe

This killer design was done by local MN blower Chris Ahalt. Chris rarely makes paraphenelia, as he is an expert at Wine Glasses. Every pattern is from ancient dakota/sioux artwork, and the buffalo is also a dakota symbol. Pretty intense piece. mad props to chris for this custom order. Gotta thank all you ballers(FRO, E.Ross, Clinton, Banjo, Smiley, Chris, J LEE) for the direction the glass is going! Smiley especially was an inspiration on this

YOU GOT TO SEE THIS

YOU GOT TO SEE THIS

After all these years of turning glass I finally got the opportunity to use a lathe...so I made a spoon. This was supposed to be the practice run for the real BIG ONE but with no lathe experience I felt like I was getting in over my head. So the giant spoon is going to have to wait for another day.
