Solara Figure Bub
(

)
Approx 18" tall. Made for the Champs show last summer (thanks Rolling High). i thought the SS - i mean homeland security was going to confiscate it at the airport on the way there.
This was the first of many pieces i had to finish at Clinton's before i got my Intari kiln last winter.
thanks for stopping by, more to come soon.

Duality

27" tall natural perk from October 06. this was a significant piece for me. It is one of the few works i've done which has real emotional content for me.
Jared Delong (a.k.a. Cutty) did a fantastic job on the metal work. And Clinton - in lieu of my usual mentor, Banjo - gave me the necessary guidance to bring this piece to fruition.
Thanks for stoppin by.

Merlin's Desklamp
(

I made this back in 2003-04, on a whim. it has hollow passages for the wiring to run hidden inside. i never got around to wiring it and it saw tragedy a few times with wings breaking off and stuff, but with some hot steps and some glue it's been on my shelf safe and sound for a few years now. i make very few sculptural pieces so this one means alot to me.

i haven't been in front of a computer for any duration in a while, so this is my first post in some time.
my mom really liked this piece, so it's hers now, and i'm up visiting, and she's got a computer.... got my camera... figured why not.... ....

The tree
(

It's not often that I get the chance to make something like this. Luckily I was commissioned so I ‘m very thankful for the opportunity. I’ve been working on this style for a while but his was my fist time making a whole tree. Peace.

quad pod
(
Bearclaw78
)
this piece was spawned from war of the worlds...instead of putting the horns where i wanted them i hit them to the left or right a bit, creating some interesting flow problems to solve,, think i'll do it more often..13"tall.8"... and 10 or so long at the quad pod.. stemless bubs thanks for looking.

Black Rose

The thornless rose. This was one I probably shouldn't have sandblasted. It had alot of color definition before. Now it's pretty well obscurred by the texture. Thanks for looking.

Gods from African Mythology...
ELEGUA
ELEGUA: Trickster God of Crossroads, Beginnings and Opportunity.
He's the Guardian of the Crossroads of Life. Whenever there are decisions to be made, he provides opportunities and second chances. If you're lucky. As a Trickster God, the childlike ELEGUA can sometimes make things even more complicated. At a whim he can turn a simple choice into a vast conundrum of paradox.

{{{MIni-Truck From Hell}}}
(
NoStress
)
This truck had to be one of the more serious projects I've ever been involved with. To incorporate blown glass into a fully worked show truck was a dream come true. The owner is both my good friend and business partner (Farmer). He started customizing this truck many years ago. Matter of fact, we finished this bad boy back in 2005. Good things come to those who wait. At least thats what I say when I'm totally slacking.
This truck was put together by a hand full of artist. Its one big fat mixed-media collaboration. Fortunately, this bad boy made cover of Mini Truckin' Magazine on June 2007. Big thanks goes out to Farmer and his family for making this happen.
Wait until you see the next vehicle we got in the works, its gonna blow your brains out!!!
