Mom's birthday present

These pieces were made at Milon Townsend's Focus on the Figure class at The CMOG Studio. My first attempts at the human form, based off of drawings from books in Milons refrence library. I highly reccomend his classes, he is a top notch teacher.

Sorry I only have one pic of this thing. I love it though. Was fun making something other than a pipe, even if its a butterfly. Erik posted this one for me earlier but it never had the antennas on it. Hangs nicely.

This piece is pretty good in size.. The lizard is made from a cane pull.. with Blue Moon, Cobalt, Green Amber Purple and Mystery Adventurine. The Dichroic image is "FIREFORM" the lizard sits upon a 3 inch frit rock, Asoorted frits with heavy fume.... Thanks for Looking...

Made around my 6th month on the torch, my second attempt at figure sculpting in glass. I plan to wrap this around the stem of a tube one day, when I'm able to make something big enough! I'm way more proud of this than anything else I've done to date, and probably spent more hours on it than anything else too (Including lots of repair work!)

I made these two pieces recently for a few friends. Dom loves elephants and Shells loves pigs!!! They both have really tiny bowls, but smoke well....the elephant's a little awkward, actually! It's nice to be able to have something cool sitting on your shelf, and no-one knows it's a pipe at first!!!(2007)
