The rarely offered Snakeskin or Panther Bamboo from China, is hardy down to -15C, and is classed as a GIANT bamboo. The Panther Bamboo is so named because as the canes mature thay are speckled with black and purple, giving the appearance of a Panther coat.

This piece is as bright as it is tight! Dichro cane tube wigwag reversals, solid Teal tubing with cobalt tracers, Ring Seal Drop Stem; diffused. Sweet marbles all around. Went together like a dream, and it hits like one too.

~Graal flame dubler with sand blasted white horns~

Celebra... 4 years of blowing glass. First time I fired up my torch was on St. Patrick’s day 2003 around 8:00am. I was up all night from the day before setting up the finishing touches in my shop. Back then I knew little about the scene and its history. Besides Adam G who was teaching me I only knew of Jason Lee and Clinton from pics in magazines. After I began I quikly learned about Mike Fro, Marcel, Ease and others. All of you have been a big influence for me since the beginning. This past year has been the busiest for me with glass, and family being my first year of fatherhood. In that year Bearclaw, Marbleslinger, Banjo, Smiley, Eusheen, and Pakoh have had a huge influence on me and have changed the way I approach glass.

Big props and thanks to all of you :)

This is the first stand up doubler I ever made, so I decided to go big. First can is 13 inches. No blow hose so I burned my forearm good blowing out that bottom bubble.

Detailed pictures of the second generation dome perc on the Per(x) Mark 2 double perc.

The first pic is the 1.0 release perc module. The two pics to the right are prototypes.

De... diffusion ports on the perc dome
*reduced volume between up-spout and dome, reduces drag.
*unitized design reduces labor, time in production, reduces cost of piece.

I think it was about 32 sections, some onyx, some silver beach, the rest is ol' school fume. GOG main can, diff in the second, and a big old nug jar.
Enjoy!

Miami Dub

Miami Dub

(DeVito)
I actually made this one for my cousin who traded me a five day vacation in Miami for the piece. This one was a bid one for me. Where it lacks in tech it makes up for in size. 13 inches tall. My camera sucks but if you look hard enough I actually have a DeVito name chip on there. Props to EA for the color. Thank you.

Another bubbler. Lately I've just been going through the steps, and practicing techniques I've recently learned.

My goal for now is to make some high-end clean glass designed to be extremely functional.

This piece has 2 different types of textured canes, and is smaller than a lot of my bubs.

Thanks for looking!!!

I put a snorkel fill\drain plug on the second can because I hate dealing with dirty water. It functions perfectly. One shot drain. I suggest it for everyone.

"ZEI... pickin' on me. Because I’m a geek. I’m strange to you. You’re strange to me. Well, one of these days. I’m gonna pack heat.
Your brains on the wall. My face, my face on tv.

I'm tellin' ya, I'm all about this snorkel drain\fill plug. It makes life so much more pleasant. This doubler is one of my personal favorites. Warm\cool schematics with unobtanium filler. I won't ever make another dub without the drain again. I care about you too much.

First double bubbler attempt! Bay Area Bubbler!

First double bubbler attempt! Bay Area Bubbler!

(OrangeSodaGlass)
Welcome to the Bay piece! I did this piece in about three days and learned a ton during the process.
Four reversal sections on frit sections. A clear window in the second chamber. A vortex facet.
You may have noticed the odd shape of this piece...mainly the tripod nature of it. The shape was due to poor planning of the base diameter, but if you're from the Bay you've seen the cranes in Oakland and recognize the similarity.
This was all done on a Nortel Midrange Plus with a Minor on top. Just goes to show that anyone can go big.

Also made a little matching piece too. Not really a set, but whatev.

Thanks for checking this out.
