Bling Bling Implosion Cab Bracelet

Bling Bling Implosion Cab Bracelet

(JAndKDesigns)
This is what happens when I have to much fun with something. Chris Roesinger blew the implosion cab and I decided to make a bracelet instead of a pendant. I accented the cab with 4 dark blue sapphires. The centerpiece is conformed to your wrist. This makes an extremely comfortable bracelet that you can hardly tell is on. I also made the chain band. I formed every link and put them together. There are approximately 600 link in the band. There is about 3 ounces of sterling silver in the entire bracelet.

Glass Cabochon Medallions w/ Gemstones

Glass Cabochon Medallions w/ Gemstones

I decided to add large gemstones to these two cabs. The colors and shapes went perfectly together. I was afraid they would get too large but I think the sizes are perfect. These are for sale on my website at www.jandkdesigns.... I also do wholesale orders for glass-blowers who are interested in collaborating. Contact me for details.

Glass cab by Chris Roesinger and metalwork by Jason Burruss. This is the first cab medallion that I used gold and added a chain. I made all the links in the chain and put them all together. The gold accents go good with dark cabs. Check out my website at www.jandkdesigns.... I do orders for other glass-blowers.

I also added a new medallion with a gemstone.

These are by far the most perfect set of cabs that Chris has sent me. The green/blue rake fume is stunning. All of these are perfectly imploded. I enjoyed being creative and not worrying about size on these. I haven't had much time to make the jewelry that I really enjoy making so I took a break from my orders and produced this series. Three of these are X-large and the others are just large. These medallions and other works of art are for sale at www.jandkdesigns....

Barrete and Bracelet Pipes

Barrete and Bracelet Pipes

(Corn-cobPiper)
A friend asked me to make her a hidden barrete pipe last year so she could travel with it on the airplane and use it wherever. She cleaned it out before her trip back home. I thought it was such a good idea, I had to make more-then I had the idea for the bracelet pipe. Both are a little awkward to use and have the tiniest bowls ever! But, they are just for special situations anyway- like when you can't sneak a pipe into a show!! It's also quite exciting to reply to someone's compliment of "pretty bracelet" with "it's a pipe!" and see their reaction! These have now become a large part of my production since 2007.
