I started on the torch in 1994 and was self-taught for the first 6 months with my earliest influence being Jerry K. My newly discovered passion for lampworking led me to become a student at the Salem Community College Scientific Glassblowing School where I received my initial glass training from Joseph Luisi. After two years at Salem, I continued taking classes and dabbling in lampworking. I have studied glass under Robert Micklesen, Sue Ellen Fowler, Emilo Santini, Roger Paramore, Milon Townsend, Dennis Briening, and Tim Dryer. Artists that influenced and inspired me since the begining were Bob Snodgrass, Dan K, TONY, and Greg K...Artworks that I admire at the present are made by Rhodium, Fluid Motion Glass Works, Jeremy Bizzano, Marbleslinger, and most recently Jag. Many thanks and much respect to all that I have mentioned and to everybody who keeps it spinning and keeps it creative.
