 Hi my name is Josh Stone. I started glass-working in late 97-early 98. When I started out I was living in San Diego. I was traveling to Humboldt Ca. to purchase glass-pipes. Thats when I first started watching Mike Warren at Psyk studio in Eureka Ca..I was so interested that i went home and purchased some equip.. Then for the next 2-3 years Gerritt Walace and I taught ourselves how to work glass. During that time we had people like Matt C.,and Mike Fro watching us work. But in those days fro and matt C. didn't blow glass yet. I moved to Southern Humboldt in 2000.I now have an art gallery/store in Garberville Ca. called Higher Consciousness Art & Glass.I also am currently operating glass blowing studio in So.Humboldt. WE have five stations currently. Being in Humboldt has given me a lot of opportunity to learn more. Matt C. has taught me 1 or 2 new tricks."Thanks Matt". Over all it has been a fun adventure.
