Glass has been a passion of mine for a long time. Enveloping myself in the world of glass was the first step. March 1st 2010 took it to the next level and started making the stuff I had been admiring for years, now there's no turnin' back!
I was taught the basics by Tim Adams of Hippies glass shop in Kennewick,WA. I was on the torch nonstop for 6 months then I was off for almost a year. Worked mostly on production slides, dabbled in other skillz whenever I got the chance. After going out on my own I've been working on pretty much anything that needs work. I've gone up to Bellingham to work with Brad L and to Montage Studios in Spokane, try to hit both whenever possible. Went to Degenerate with CJ Freestone, Crondo and his buddy Steve. I'm gunna try to work with CJ whenever possible. Been meeting well known artists and getting to work with them, it's like a dream. Stoked!!!
There will be much more to see from me on this site now that I'm back to work! Just got my kiln, 8.7 lbs. of color, a clear package and the tools I needed (2-3-12). Bench is setup, jus need to build ventilation. I'm currently running a National 8m w/sm7 tip (2-3-12). Getting a Phantom will help alot! (Order in coming June '12) Now it's just bout keepin' enough cashflow to keep the glass turnin'.
Right now it would be really awesome if someone just took me under their wing... so if your in eastern Washington and are willing, please hit me up!!!!
I'm always trying to expand my creativity but, right now its all about getting faster and more consistent on the torch! Want to move up to Bellingham eventually, if your in that area get ahold of me I would like to know some burners in the area. During this wonderful journey I hope to cross paths with as many burners as possible, share the creative energy.
This site has been my biggest inspiration and will continue to be. A huge thanx goes to Justin "The Creator" and to all you glass Hustlers that continue to blow my freakin' mind!!! "Stay lifted, so YOUR "above the influence"!"(tm)
HIT ME UP!!!
